Mary Valley Food Company (MVFC) was started to support local farmers and reduce the amount of food going to waste. Over 5 million tonnes of food ends up as landfill in Australia every year. Locally, MVFC noticed a lot of produce was falling to the ground and not being used.
The farms MVFC currently support are; Bunya Grove Produce, Steve and Madeleine’s 200 acre farm, Sweet Az Citrus, Kenyana Farm, Sublime Limes, Gilldora Grove, Phil and Jane’s Mango Orchard, Ferntree Valley Farm & The Big Orange Gayndah.
MVFC acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. MVFC pays respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
